Nice style,however, cutting off the foot is'nt a good decision.

I like, but the mouth is shwonky, and she looks like she is about to fall over. you should practice more traditional style, and implement what you learn in your anime style.

The entire figure leans to the left (our left) so much that she wouldnt be able to keep her balance in that position. Her right leg should be supporting all the weight but her center of balance is actually too far over the leg to be able to do so.
Her mouth is a bit small, but I know a lot of shoujo anime styles do that a lot, I dont think its the size that was Kalathis's problem I think it was its placement. Try mirroring the image and I think you'll see that the face all slants to (our) left, bringing the mouth to far out.
To point out the things I really liked, the coloring is nice and I like the line-less colors. The BG fits the image just fine even if it is simple as well.

nice probably the best from you yet. i think your getting better with every piece very nice detailed work on her eyelashes and the pencil work looks interesting as well...the fine outline made it seem like you didnt use any, and i kinda like it i also agree with the BG, eventhough its simple it works out well. i think the way she's positioned is a little bit uneasy to look at. maybe you could have positioned her staff on the opposite direction?
Very interesting character design BTW i too enjoy creating my own characters
just a tip: if your drawing a whole body, draw them completely or dont crop them partly

what i mean is that the original linework (pencil or ink) is very fine (or small) that it seems that there arent any. kind of like how disney animations match the line work with the color of the skin and clothes so it disappears

i like the pic and tru to anime i dont mind the mouth that much but yeah it is kinda of skew i havent seen much of the anime but i have heard of it is it good?? oh well all in all its a nice piece of art none the less

This is definitly my favorite (sorry I didn't comment sooner, my compuer was being difficult) of yours, and I can see the influence (Sango, anyone?) but unique at the same time, of course. The only bit of critique I have is that her little...umm, helmet-thinger is kind of flat. Texture on the clothes maybe, or something? Some of the lines also seem harsh, but you're using a mouse, right? That gives you an excellent excuse ^_^. It might be the resizing, too.
